The top reasons teams choose botBrains

Your data stays in the EU.

Hosting in Germany, AI processing in EU data centers, no third-country transfer, for every customer. Ada uses a US region unless you specify otherwise; EU storage has to be agreed.

A contract under German law.

Your contracting party is botBrains GmbH, with a DPA, German law and Berlin as the place of jurisdiction. With Ada it is Ada Support Inc. or a subsidiary, under Ontario law.

Prices you know upfront.

Ada does not publish prices on its website. botBrains does: €0.19 per AI answer in chat, €0.40 per phone minute, no seat fees and analytics included.

What to know about Ada in 2026

Ada is growing, mostly in enterprise.

In March 2026 Ada reported more than 100% year-over-year revenue growth, more than 550 enterprise AI agents in production and new offices in London and Singapore. In February it launched its Reasoning Engine, one shared AI logic for every channel.

Existing customers also see a change to web chat: Ada is replacing Chat with Messaging, and Chat retires on December 15, 2026. Ada moves websites that use the script tag itself; teams using the npm package have to migrate before then.

EU hosting exists, but it is not the default.

To be fair: Ada offers EU hosting. The platform runs on AWS in the US, Canada, Ireland and Germany, and the region follows the customer’s requirements. If none are specified, Ada uses a US region, and data sits in European data centers only with an agreed Europe data storage option.

Ada’s subprocessor list shows some services in the US only, including the AI model providers OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere and Groq, plus logging and error reporting. The contracting party is Ada Support Inc. or a subsidiary, under Ontario law. At botBrains, all customer data stays in the EU, and that applies to every customer.

Billing is per conversation or per resolution.

Ada does not publish prices on its website. Under its terms you buy a set number of conversations upfront, and overages are billed at the then-current rate. Alternatively, Ada bills per automated resolution: conversations without a handoff whose answers were relevant, accurate and safe. Ada calculates the number from a sample.

botBrains bills AI answers at prices published on its website: €0.19 per answer in chat and €0.56 in ticketing. Every answer can be traced in the conversation history, and spam is never billed.

  1. 1

    You don’t pay twice.

Still under contract with Ada? On a 12-month deal, we waive our fees for the months you’re still paying Ada, up to the amount you pay there.

  2. 2

    We build on your setup.

Together we go through your channels, volume and the playbooks Ada runs today. botBrains reads your help center, website, PDFs and past tickets, and we rebuild your actions with you.

  3. 3

Your helpdesk stays as it is.

If your team works in Zendesk or Salesforce, botBrains answers right there: drafts first, then autonomously, topic by topic. You keep a special right of termination in the early phase.

Our honest comparison promise

Most comparison pages are sales collateral in table form. Pick the rows carefully and you win every table.

Competition is good. One-sided comparisons are not.

So here is our rule: every row cites public sources, both products get the same level of detail, and we show where Ada is the better choice. If you spot a wrong or outdated claim, email us at info@botbrains.io. We will check it and correct it.
